An international youth football tournament organised by DynamiqueKonzepts Pte Ltd. in Singapore, Singa Cup, is pencilled in as an annual event on our sporting calendar. Now in its 23rd edition (2020), the tournament seeks to showcase new talent from Asia and abroad. The players have the chance to test themselves in a competitive environment, impress spectators and earn the opportunity for a trial with a prestigious football club in Europe.

Barça Academy Delhi NCR hosted Barça Academy Cup Asia Pacific in Gurugram in January 2019 and January 2020. The premier intra-Barça Academy APC tournament saw 48 teams with over 600+ players from Australia, Japan, China, Spain, Singapore, Istanbul and India competing against each other in categories Under 9, Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15. The tournaments were the largest international grassroots tournaments held in India. FC Barcelona legend Luis Garcia was the tournament ambassador in 2019, unveiled the trophy and was present to cheer on the teams. Built along the lines of the Barça Academy International Tournament, the Barça Academy Asia-Pacific Cup is an exhibition of Asian pride and skill.

Barça Academy International Tournament is the flagship event of Barça Academies around the world. The annual four-day tournament is held during Easter week each year in Barcelona, Spain. More than 100 teams, consisting of hand-picked star players from 59 different Barça Academies from 24 countries around the world, are a part of this grand event to be held in Camp Nou vicinity.
We take immense pride in sharing that Barça Academy India has participated in all editions of the tournament since 2013. It is a platform for our players to showcase their talent on an international stage and gain an invaluable exposure at the same time.
It is a truly international event where players get to play and interact with their peers from different cultures all learning the Barça way of football. Our teams have been lucky to meet FC Barcelona legends such as Xavi, Iniesta and Pique.
We, at Barça Academy, believe that participation in competitions is critical to a player’s development. Not only is it only during competition matches that a player gets a chance to implement all that he has been training for, during sessions, competitions also help boost a player’s competitive spirit. That is why we ensure that our players participate in various tournaments, through the year.
