Our Technical Director

Barça Academy Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai and Bengaluru programmes are managed by Technical Directors appointed by FC Barcelona who permanently reside in India. They are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the academy and ensuring that the FC Barcelona curriculum is being coached and incorporated into the training sessions correctly. They also plan training programmes to specifically suit and cater to our players of different ages.

Aitor Olmo Ibanez

Technical Director & Country Manager India

For 14 years, Aitor Olmo Ibanez played professionally in Spain. Aitor has been associated with FC Barcelona for 12 years and has a UEFA PRO licence in football coaching. He has 11 years of experience as a technical director in both Japan and India. he has successfully managed both international and domestic camps In Barcelona, Luxemburg, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, and India, He also planned clinics in Barcelona with players from all around the world.

ALBERTO LAFUENTE

Technical Director, Mumbai & Pune

With ten years of coaching expertise in football, ALBERTO LAFUENTE holds a UEFA B licence and has been affiliated with FC Barcelona for six years. He has worked as a technical director for four years in Lagos (Nigeria), Dubai, North Carolina, Pune, and Mumbai. He has successfully run international and national camps in Barcelona, the US, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. he organised clinics in Barcelona with Players from around the globe.

Technical Director, Bengaluru

RUBÉN DÍAZ UEFA "B" License coach and presently serving as the Local Project Director at BARÇA Academy in Bangalore, stands as a pinnacle figure in his domain. With a distinguished career adorned by notable achievements, he has overseen the management of the BARÇA Academy PRO New York girls' teams and spearheaded the coordination of BARÇA CAMPS across the globe, spanning locations such as Lithuania, Japan, Puerto Rico, Málaga, and Paraguay.
